Eugenia Okyere

Eugenia is currently a Deputy Director, Research and Business Development at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).

She is influencing policies related to investments as well as proposing best practices of investment promotion and attraction through her work within the Research arm of the Centre, especially after her one year stint at the University of Manchester in the area of Development Economics and Policy under the prestigious Chevening Scholarship awards. She also has an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management – the Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Before her current position, she was mainly responsible for promoting Ghana’s Investment Opportunities and producing the Centre’s key promotional tools including the “GIPC Quarterly Investment Report” as a Senior Investment Promotion Officer.

She is currently leading her team to review the Centre’s sector profiles to be in accordance with best practices, to have content that truly sells Ghana’s investment opportunities, to drive the developmental and transformational agenda of Ghana. She is also the focal person for Coordinating GIPC’s external relations with donor bodies.

She seeks to bring change in the work ethics and attitudes within the Centre.
