Ernest Agyenim-Boateng


Ernest is a highly experienced entrepreneur and project manager with a diverse background in the private sector. As the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Akwaaba Feeds Ltd., he is responsible for driving growth and implementing strategic initiatives, drawing from his experience in marketing, distribution, and project management. Ernest is also a Director of WhiteCap Development Ltd., an independent Power Producer with a 200 MW utility-scale PV solar project under development in Savalugu in the Northern Region. With his keen interest in sustainable development, he is committed to promoting renewable energy and creating positive social and environmental impacts.

As the Vice-Chairperson of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE), Ernest is dedicated to supporting and promoting entrepreneurship in Ghana. Ernest is a Member of the Board of Trustees, Young Entrepreneurs and Startups Support Fund (YESS Fund), which operates as a peer-to-peer lending platform for entrepreneurs. This initiative blends crowdfunding and cooperative credit union principles to build a collective fund sourced primarily from its members. The fund received the initial seed fund from the European Union through SNV Ghana.

With a combined experience of over 15 years in manufacturing, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and project management, he has worked on a wide range of projects in the private sector, demonstrating a strong background in project development, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. Ernest holds a BSc in Management Studies from Central University, a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK, and a Certificate in Management and Economics from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UK). Ernest is a highly skilled and accomplished professional with a deep understanding of entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and project management.
