Dr. Yaw Gyekye is practicing veterinarian of about 17 years of experience. He has a fair working relationship with variety of stakeholders in the agricultural industry in Ghana. Dr. Gyekye has worked actively in 6 regions of Ghana and visited all the 10 regions of the country. He has worked actively both in the private sector and the public sector. He has a good experience in working with community and farmer-based projects in rural and urban Ghana. Currently, Dr. Gyekye works with Veterinary Services Department, Ministry of Food & Agriculture, in Dormaa Ahenkro, Brong Ahafo as municipal veterinary officer. This major activity is to engage with the poultry farmers, animal health, and production aspect.
